the pink & the pattern
the first post of the "new" blog had to be stunning! luckily i recently hosted a bridal shower that turned out spectacular. it all started with color theme (black, white, and hot pink) and a pattern.
as i like to say, when you set the table, you set the mood. the vibrant pink base said: 'let's have some fun!', the pattern runner and hydrangeas (with black craft balls for a unique touch) said: 'this is a classy and chic soiree'. all tableware is available to rent via head of the table.
light played a big role in setting the mood also. i purchased white & pink led lights, which gave an electric glow to the party. the row of lights were simple & budget-friendly. i printed a the swirl shape that i used throughout the party on regular computer paper. i added some ribbon to complete the look and placed an led light inside.
thanks to chris at celebrations at home for posting some inspiration that i was able to copy and use...
aren't these perfect? favor affairs has tons of black & white pattern party accessories.
and what's a party without a bar? this party came complete with both a wine bar and mini-(candy)bar.

hope you like the new blog layout! i'm sure i'll be playing around with it so thanks in advance for your patience.
cheers!
